More on the Prizes

Adults will receive the award-winning Khimera PFD. The Khimera combines a foam PFD with an inflatable bladder for dual flotation. It offers the security of foam in a slim profile, and the option to boost your buoyancy with the pull of a cord keeps your movements (and your flotation) as fluid and dynamic as needed for your water-based activities.

Initially designed for paddlers with a growing number of fans in the sailing world, Khimera’s tailored-to-the-body design helps you stay sleek and protected. The PFD provides 20.5 pounds of buoyancy.

Kids will receive a Mustang Survival kids’ PFD dependent on their weight, which may include Mustang’s Infant, Child, or Youth Lil Legends or Rev Child or Young Adult Vest.

Editor’s note: The set of PFDs is for immediate family only. For kids, we’ll need to know their weight to provide them the correct flotation devices. GearJunkie will contact the winner to acquire sizes, colors, and preferred kids’ PFD models.
