Home Work-Ins? Planet Fitness Offers Unique Way to Stay Fit

Planet Fitness has a fitness solution for quarantines: When you can’t work out, work in.

Today, Planet Fitness announced that it will host free “work-ins,” a series of virtual fitness classes for everyone. Planet Fitness will stream the work-ins live on its Facebook page daily at 7 p.m. Eastern.

The work-ins will be similar to the gym’s regular classes: They’ll be led by certified trainers and offer a variety of exercises. Unlike at gyms, the work-ins will require no equipment. The virtual classes will also be 20 minutes (or less).

“The home workouts will offer tools to combat stress, while providing motivation and inspiration to keep us all physically and mentally fit,” wrote Planet Fitness. And, most importantly, they allow people to stay fit while staying indoors.

If you can’t make it to the live work-in, don’t worry. Each class will also be available on Planet Fitness’ Facebook page and YouTube channel for users to access later.
