‘Customizable Warmth’ – Kammok Sleeping Bag

A high-quality down bag ($329) serves as the base for the Thylacine system. From there, a camper can add or remove layers (sold separately) to use a single bag in many temps and seasons.

The bag, stuffed with 750-fill DownTek goose down, is mutable from a 30-degree bed as its base, down to a 0-degree winter bag with all the “layers.” (Liners cost between $99 and $199.)

Beyond simple versatility, the Kammok product won our vote as a “Best In Show” because of its quality construction as well as nice design moves like integrated elastic adjustment straps that cinch the insulation against your body and eliminate dead spots. The materials are silky, and the bag is packable and light at under 3 pounds.

Finally, you can also use only the liner, like a quilt, on hot summer nights. Kammok markets the Thylacine as “the last sleeping bag you’ll ever need.”
