We’ve already spent some time with this jacket, and it’s a major departure from traditional waterproof/breathable shells and rain jackets. With a new kind of exterior membrane, Columbia Sportswear’s OutDry Extreme flips traditional waterproof/breathable fabric around, moving the jacket membrane to the exterior of the shell.
