The latest project from ‘Sit-Ski Boss’ goes much deeper than just a ski film. After 6 years, Trevor Kennison returned to the exact spot in Colorado outside Vail Pass where he broke his back in 2014 (a T11-12 spinal cord injury). Then 3 years later, the film comes to life, and Kennison gets to share it with us.
“Six years later, he returned to the site of his accident to attempt the world’s first double backflip on a sit ski,” the film teases. “Full Circle is a film about post-traumatic growth.”
Safe to say, this is an emotional but beautiful one to watch.
“We’ve never had a more exciting, more compelling, or more emotional day of filming in our lives than this one with Trevor Kennison,” wrote Level 1 Films. “Going with Trevor to the place where he broke his back was special — documenting something the world has never seen before at that spot was indescribable. We’re proud and honored to have captured this moment and many more with Trevor in our documentary.”
Full Circle premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on February 13 and 14, 2023. You can learn more and find out how to watch at https://fullcirclefilm.co/.
