In its fifth year, the Kings and Queens of Corbet’s competition will bring only the most expert skiers and riders together to tackle one of the steepest chutes in the West.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is once again hosting Kings and Queens of Corbet’s ski and snowboard invitational from Feb. 12 to 18, pending snow.

What is Corbet’s Couloir? Well, it’s one of the steepest and most visible lines at Jackson Hole. Corbet’s has a terrifically steep 45-degree pitch, and entering the chute requires dropping 3-6 m off a cornice. It’s narrow, rocky, and steep — and a perfect place for the pros to throw tricks and test their skills.

This year, 23 athletes will compete.

Here’s the full men’s roster: Blake Wilson, Cam Fitzpatrick, Chase Blackwell, Cooper Branham, Corey Jackson, Garrett Warnick, Grant Giller, Hans Mindnich, Jake Hopfinger, Karl Fosvedt (2021 King), Max Martin, Nial Romanek, Parkin Costain, Ryan Wachendorfer, Sander Hadley, Tim Durtschi, and Yuki Kadono.

And for women: Audrey Hebert, Madison Blackley (2021 Queen), Marissa Krawczak, Molly Armanino, Piper Kunst, and Zoë Vernon.

“The athletes have been able to impress us every year with innovation and creativity,” Jess McMillan, Senior Events and Partnership Manager at JHMR said. “We can’t wait to see what they do this year.”
