When it comes to pro climbers Alex Puccio and Michaela Kiersch, “girl power” falls desperately short of adequate. Pronouns aside, the two are among the strongest boulderers in the world. Their talents aren’t limited to pulling on plastic, either.
In this short but stoke-intensive edit, we get to see Kiersch and the Pucc run a send train on “Steppenwolf,” V13/8B. A classic problem, Steppenwolf resides in Switzerland’s world-class Magic Wood crag. And it’s not hard to see why climbers journey to the ethereal destination.
