Watch Australia’s Best Surf Film of the Year (According to Nikon)

In partnership with Surfing Australia, the Nikon Surf Photo and Video of the Year awards celebrate the very best in Australian surf photography and videography. And this year, Russell Bierke’s film ‘Flow State’ rose to the top.

Produced and directed by Andrew Kaineder, the film “Flow State” follows Bierke as he hucks himself into some overwhelmingly big barrels. Some called his ride at Shipstern the greatest wave ever paddled into.

What do you think? Watch and find out!

From the director: “Flow State will take you an audiovisual journey as Russ pushes his own boundaries. Along the way, he gives us insight into what makes him tick and how the hell his feet stay glued to his board in the most critical of situations.”
