TAXA Outdoors builds “lightweight, minimalist mobile habitats for outdoor adventure,” and now offers even more capability to tackle rugged terrain. The TAXA Outdoors trailers that we’ve seen for years — Woolly Bear, TigerMoth, Cricket, and Mantis — are now all offered with “X” off-road capability upgrades.

TAXA Outdoors, owned by Storyteller Overland, now offers its four lightweight camper trailers in three versions: base, Overland, and X. The main difference as you climb that model ladder is off-road capability. The Overland and X models also have more off-grid capabilities than the base model. All the new top-tier off-road trailers get a big “X” graphic on the side.

“TAXA X trailers are a testament to our ‘go farther’ ethos and reflect TAXA’s commitment to innovation and durability in overlanding,” said Neil Grimmer, CEO of TAXA Outdoors. “We’ve taken everything we know about exploring the wild to craft a line that empowers adventurers and gives them confidence to hit the hardest terrain. These habitats are more rugged than ever.”

TAXA X Trailers

The whole idea behind this new X trim level of TAXA Outdoors’ proven camper trailers is to enable further off-the-beaten-path adventures. This is accomplished with features and upgrades that enhance off-road capability.
