The Ford Bronco Sport gets more off-road capability, some tech upgrades, and some fun accessory options for 2025. The big story is that the little crossover SUV gets the Sasquatch Package.

“Bronco Sport customers love the outdoors and go off-roading 3.5 times as often as the owners of competitive vehicles, and camping twice as often,” said Matt Simpson, Ford Enthusiast Vehicles general manager. “They want to know they can overcome obstacles that come their way, which drove our designers and engineers to push Bronco Sport to a new level of capability and performance to let our customers do more and have more fun off-road.”

The Sasquatch Package is available for the first time on the Bronco Sport and is available on both the 1.5L Outer Banks and 2.0L Badlands 2025 Bronco Sport models.

It includes such hardware as a twin-clutch rear-drive unit, locking rear differential, front brush guard, modular steel front and rear bumpers, two recovery points at each end of the vehicle, steel skid plates, and a traditional rectangular Bronco grille. Inside, there is an available interior grab handle and overhead pre-wired auxiliary switches.

A pretty rad and unique feature of the 2025 Bronco Sport with Sasquatch Package are the front fender integrated and pop-out tie-down points. They are rated at 150 pounds and allow you to secure rooftop cargo.

Under the 2025 Bronco Sport with Sasquatch Package are bigger tires and better suspension. It has 29-inch (235/65/R17) Goodyear Territory all-terrain tires wrapped around unique wheels.

There are also new springs at all four corners, lifting the ride height 4/10 of an inch (over 2024 Bronco Sport Badlands). In the rear, it also gets Bilstein shocks with position-sensitive damping and piggyback reservoirs.

Making the Bronco Sport with Sasquatch Package even more adventure-ready are Bronco Bolts. These are areas on the vehicle that allow owners to add accessories with just a few bolts — they are marked “Accessory Ready” and feature the Bronco logo.

Inside, there is a Bring Your Own Device tray, and the front passenger grab handle can be replaced. Outside, the Sasquatch Package bumpers are set up to easily allow for brush bars, driving lights, dune flag mounts, and more.

Sasquatch Package Tech

Of course, the new off-road-focused Bronco Sport also gets all the latest tech to help it tackle tough terrain with ease. The Sasquatch Package comes with the new Rally G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) Mode. It is designed for higher-speed off-road driving — specifically, in loose conditions like in the sand — and sharpens throttle response, holds gears longer, and is said to provide better steering feedback.

Also standard are Trail One-Pedal Drive, Trail Control, and 360-Degree Camera system — with Split View that shows front tires from a side-view mirror perspective.

“While other small SUVs simply look rugged, Bronco Sport is engineered rugged from the inside out and top to bottom,” said Eddie Khan, Bronco Sport Vehicle Engineering manager. “Bronco Sport has earned the right to call itself Built Wild with Sasquatch.”

While the 2025 Bronco Sport Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Badlands models will hit dealers in November, the Sasquatch Package versions won’t be available until early 2025.

No word on pricing yet, but I’m sure we’ll get that info soon. With the current Bronco Sport topping out at around $45K, it’s likely the Sasquatch Package will bring that to around $50K.
