To honor Independence Day and a return to socializing with friends and loved ones, two all-American brands will launch suds and swag — including the ‘greatest hoodie ever made.’
“Cheers to Good Company” — that’s the slogan behind American Giant and Samuel Adams’ limited-edition, Fourth of July collaboration. And while the play on words nods to both brands’ USA heritage, the duo acknowledges that we all need some good company and time together right now.
“After months of lockdowns and isolation, this summer marks the first time in over a year that many of us are reuniting with family, friends, and loved ones,” the companies said in a press release. And the timing over the Fourth holiday also gives the brands a chance to co-launch complementary products that point to their American-made ethos.
Beginning today, American Giant will sell a limited-edition cotton T-shirt ($38) and a special print of its full-zip hoodie ($118) — a shirt that it calls the “greatest hoodie ever made.” Both pieces are 100% sourced and produced in the USA.
Both shirts feature each brand’s logo — and the full zip sports a limited navy blue color with red and white accents. Find the festive shirts at select American Giant retail locations, Samuel Adams’ Massachusetts and Cincinnati taprooms, or online at the Samuel Adams e-store and American Giant.
And to help quench that summer thirst, Samuel Adams is launching a special Kellerbier-style lager, with domestically sourced hops and malt.
