Petzl invites climbers to bolt, crag, and crush alongside some of the sport’s biggest names at the Manikia RocTrip this May.
Drippy Greek limestone is the stuff of sport climber dreams. It’s bomber, intricate, challenging, and benefits from some of the best views on Earth. And after this spring, coastal Greece will offer even more world-class sport routes on which to play.
Petzl RocTrip, now in its 20th year, is a storied international sport climbing get-together that’s invited the community out to bolt, send, and hang alongside the world’s best climbers at crags from Gentu to Squamish.
As for this year’s event, there isn’t much info available just yet. We do know Petzl has it slated it for May 12-15 in Manikia, Greece. We also know that the brand intends to make its festival accessible both “on-site and online,” though how the virtual platform will work isn’t entirely clear.
And if the teaser is any indication, crag celebs including Sasha DiGuilian, Dave Graham, Alex Megos, and Anak Verhoeven will be there. Petzl promises to release more details soon. Until then, I guess we’ll just have to drool over this reel of an impossibly perfect climbing destination.
