‘Carpet Bags’ Use Portland Airport Design

[leadin]It’s hard to walk through the Portland airport and not marvel at the crazy carpet, already memorialized on Instagram and even a pair of KEEN shoes. Now the 70’s throwback pattern is on bags, too.[/leadin]

The designers at Blaqpaks had the iconic carpet pattern printed on Cordura and set about crafting bags from it.

The packs come in shapes and sizes ranging from a zipper pouch to a 17 liter roll-top backpack, all accented with Portland airport carpet patterns.

Fittingly, the packs and bags are handmade in Portland and have a lifetime warranty.

Prices range from $22 (for the zipper sack) to $320 (for the 17 liter Kagero).
