[leadin]Finally, a party boat we can all get behind. It has a motor, floats, and a place to put a beer.[/leadin]
Like many Minnesotans, Aaron Rupar flocked to the lake over the 4th of July weekend. While enjoying some quality time at his family’s lake home, Rupar peered across the water and noticed what looked like a floating picnic table.
Thinking maybe it was a High Life-induced hallucination, Rupar went in for a closer look. Indeed, the picnic table was floating atop the water with a koozie crew captaining the contraption.
The picnic table was rigged up with a set of mini-pontoons and propelled with a small electric trolling motor.
Rupar said it immediately reminded him of the Pedal Pubs that shuttle drunk revelers up and down Twin Cities’ streets.
Apparently, the “Paddle Pub” was a creation of one of the people on board.
It’s hard not to love this thing, and frankly it looks a lot more fun than the pedal version.
Props to the king of leisure who dreamt up such an epic floating machine.
