How to Unite a Pack of African Wild Dogs (Hint: It’s Real Weird)

Wildlife biologist Wes Larson is known for his work with bears in North America. But in this short vid, he helps a South African wildlife biologist unite a new pack of wild dogs.

Wild dogs were once ubiquitous to sub-Saharan Africa. But human habitation, persecution, and disease have dwindled their numbers to only a few thousand.

This short film features wildlife biologist Cole du Plessis and the work he’s doing to bring wild dog packs together. Wes Larson plays the part of helpful visiting biologist and curious sidekick.

And it’s a lot of fun. At 8 minutes long, it’s the perfect break for the workday.
