Olympic gold medalist, professional snowboarder, and backcountry rider extraordinaire Sage Kotsenburg had a radical 2023 ski season. From January to April, he shot on location in Utah, Wyoming, Alaska, and Canada. And everywhere he went had record snowfall. His newest edit “SAGE KOTSENBURG FULL PART 2023” is a compilation of some of the biggest stomps, steepest lines, and deepest pow they encountered.

“Last season we set out with no expectations and just filmed as much as we [could],” Kotsenburg’s description of the video reads. “This is the result.”

Kotsenburg, who is sponsored by Oakley, K2, Monster Energy, and GoPro, is merging freestyle skiing and backcountry. He’s part of a wave of new school athletes who are pushing the boundaries of the sport, and riding some of the gnarliest backcountry lines with the most style. And this edit is a 6-minute exposé of his raw talent — and steaze.
