Kilian Jornet Skis Europe’s Tallest Vertical Rock Face: Watch ‘Troll Wall’

This wall is so steep it’s hard to believe Kilian Jornet made it down. Watch him ice climb up, then ski down slopes of more than 60 degrees. His accomplishment marks the first ski descent of the Troll Wall.

‘Troll Wall’ is a video of Kilian Jornet by Salomon TV. It includes interviews with elite athletes and comrades, including Jornet himself.

In Norway, the Troll Wall is 5,715 feet (1,742 meters) tall, making it Europe’s tallest vertical rock face. Jornet chose a thin seam of snow to ski down for this epic first descent.
