National parks: Love them, wear them, and support them with New Balance’s specially designed 998s.
Whether you prefer the warm earth tones of Death Valley or the cool hues of Crater Lake, these kicks help a worthy cause.
Boston-based New Balance this year launched the National Parks 998 sneakers in collaboration with J.Crew. In addition to two special color schemes, $10 of each purchase goes to the National Parks Foundation.

The iconic suede 998s – typically suited to urban-facing adventures – receive a splash of the outdoors with two new colors.
Both Crater Lake blue and Death Valley brown/tan options cost $180 until supplies run out. Built in the U.S., the 998s sport a suede and mesh upper, and the brand’s Abzorb foam midsole.
