Based in Montana, Rachelle Schrute is an avid hunter, angler, amateur wild game cook, and professional wild game eater. She’s a competitive outdoor napper and occasionally writes about the experience.
Rachelle’s held leadership positions in multiple conservation organizations and often finds herself testifying in the capitol on topics ranging from wildlife management to habitat protection.
As a hunter and angler born and raised in Montana, I have the honor of doing what I love and calling it work. Whether I’m testing new hunting gear in the backcountry, scouting elk for the upcoming season, chasing trout with the latest fish stick, or covering conservation and policy news, there’s nowhere I’d rather be and nothing I’d rather be doing.
My interests include hunting, fishing, eating, wild game cooking, camping, eating, gardening, backpacking, conservation, eating, and live music of every conceivable genre.
