The 20-year-old GO Camper sees a second iteration for off-road adventures in 2024. The SylvanSports Go All-Terrain, or GOAT, trailer brings some serious off-road chops to the tiny camper/utility trailer segment.
Stealth Grey and Venture Green are the color choices for the new SylvanSport GOAT trailer for that rugged, outdoorsy look. The tiny, lightweight trailer can be towed by just about anything while offering sleeping space for up to four adults and hauling around up to 950 pounds of adventure gear.
Camper & Utility Trailer in One
While there are lots of cool, small off-road capable campers on the market, there are very few that are super lightweight and super compact, can sleep four adults, have interior standing room, and can haul big gear like dirt bikes. The GOAT trailer can do all that and even be a great small utility trailer for getting projects done around your property.
The off-road capability should be pretty impressive with the independent Timbren Axles and 29-inch Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires. This combo offers 18 inches of ground clearance and a 40-degree departure angle. No, I wouldn’t recommend dragging this through the Rubicon Trail, but most overland routes across North America should be good to go.
The spaciousness in this trailer is also impressive. It has 6 feet 5 inches of standing height when set up in camp mode, and it can sleep four adults in two king-plus-size beds. When in transport gear mode, the GOAT trailer can handle up to 950 pounds of cargo — which is enough for two dirt bikes or a lot of kayaks, SUPs, and bicycles.
