Being a part of a community centered around a common passion is a beautiful thing. That’s exactly what has drawn the members of Sending in Color together. The diverse group of Midwesterners all love to ice climb.

But this year’s exceptionally warm winter meant that all of the Michigan Ice Fest events were canceled for the first time ever. So, they had to get their annual ice climb in elsewhere.

Learn more about this unique diversity, equity, and inclusion-focused group, Sending in Color, through the short film For the Joy of the Community. It’s helping get more people outside, enjoying the sense of community that ice climbing brings them — even if global warming is trying to get in their way.
