More on the Prize

BOA collaborated with Saucony to create the Switchback 2, a new trail shoe design integrating the BOA Fit System on the side of its bootie-like construction.

The brands also developed an asymmetric configuration and “Mono-Panel” upper to alleviate pressure on the top of the foot and bring the midfoot close to the sole for a speedier, more responsive feel. It also adds an entirely new look to the classic trail shoe aesthetic. Plus, that bootie-like upper and fit make it less likely for trail grit to find its way into the shoe.

The brands are confident the BOA Fit System will change the way athletes run.

More on the Brand

Since 2001, BOA has been designing performance fit systems to change the way people “dial in” their footwear. Beginning with snowboard boots, the brand has now integrated its BOA Fit System into almost every major footwear category.

BOA’s designs enable consumers to dial in a precision fit with little effort, bringing footwear performance and comfort to a new level. In the brand’s latest collaboration with Saucony on the Switchback 2 shoe, BOA integrated its latest Fit System, making it possible for athletes to make micro-adjustments that activate the Mono-Panel on the shoe, delivering a more precise fit for their workout.
