Each winter, the town of Ouray, Colo., transforms into an ice climbing destination. The 2022 Ouray Ice Fest runs from Jan. 20 to 23 and includes ice climbing events, clinics, vendor exhibitions, climbing competitions, dinners, celebrations, and more.
Every dollar made during the festival goes directly back into funding Ouray Ice Park Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of ice climbing in Ouray. It’s a community of advocates that relies solely on donations and memberships to keep the Ouray Ice Park running each season.
Win Ice Climbing Trip to Ouray Ice Fest
And now for the real news: the giveaway prizes. Eligible giveaway participants can look forward to lots of fun prizes, including the grand prize — an ice climbing trip in Ouray, gear, and more.
The grand prize includes a travel stipend to Ouray, Colo., lodging for two in Ouray, an ice climbing clinic, VIP access to all Ice Fest events, a kit from Rab (down jacket, shell, pant, and gloves), CAMP ice tools, CAMP crampons, a Sterling climbing rope, SCARPA climbing boots, a leader level AAC membership, and two subscriptions to Climbing Magazine.
The second-place prize offers a Rab down jacket, Sterling climbing rope, CAMP crampons, SCARPA climbing boots, an AAC membership, and a subscription to Climbing Magazine.
