The North Face Takes Alaskan Snowboarding Film ‘Free Rider’ on Tour

Victor de Le Rue and Sam Anthamatten star in the latest documentary from The North Face, coming to theaters around the world this fall.

It’s not surprising that The North Face tapped Jerome Tanon for its newest film. In the last few years, the director has quickly made a big powdery splash with two award-winning documentaries: “Zabardast” and “The Eternal Beauty of Snowboarding.”

With “Free Rider,” Tanon travels with an ambitious crew to the Alaskan backcountry in search of new lines and killer photography.

This short trailer keeps the movie’s plot enigmatic — just the kind of teaser to get you stoked for a screening. Check out Mountains on Stage to get your ticket to one of its 200-plus show dates.
