This vid following surfer Malia Manuel features a diversity of awe-inspiring photography above and below the water, flickering though perfectly framed shots in a mix of color and monochrome. 

But it’s the landscapes and the surfer in it that most shine in this transfixing edit from Morgan Maassen. Together, they travel to Tahiti, Indonesia, South Africa, France, Spain, and back to Manuel’s home in Kaua’i. 

“I watched a woman continuously spill her curiosity out into the world while constantly striving to hone her athletic ability,” Maassen wrote for the video. “And so I made a visual tale about a world-class human surfing her way around the globe.”

Yes, it’s worth watching.
