A Word From Rebecca Parsons

As a contributing writer for GearJunkie, I get to combine my passions for the outdoors and writing into one. As a child, I dreamed of someday seeing my name in print, and I am continuously grateful to have a job that I genuinely love.

My career started with an unpaid internship at a stand-up paddle magazine and evolved into freelance gigs, before finally landing a contributing editor position with The Inertia. In addition to my work for The Inertia, I continue to work as a freelance writer for various publications, including GearJunkie.

GearJunkie is a gear and outdoor website comprised of good people, writing about their greatest passions in life – I am honored to be a member of the team. When I’m not writing, you can find me surfing, running, hiking, stand-up paddling, or sleeping under the stars.
