Jurek spent a lot of time running at night, and to do so he needed a solid headlamp that was light and bright.
“I think it’s one of the best and brightest lights out there for the weight,” he said. When you have it on full bore, it’s as light as daylight out on the trail. Some of those nights I was out till midnight… you want to see every rock and root.”
Jurek didn’t use a handheld flashlight on the run, but he did have to make do once. “I did have to use an iPhone one time when I didn’t have my light,” he said.
