A Word From Adam Ruggiero

I vowed never to work in a cubicle and discovered early on that I loved writing and playing outdoors. There are very few professions that satisfy all three of those facets — I’ll be damned if I don’t know how good I have it.

I began working on a sports talk radio show in Minnesota (KFAN) and soon after covered auto racing for an upstart website. When those didn’t pan out, I quit my jobs and bummed around Hawaii and Puerto Rico for a year. When I came back, I decided to write until someone gave me a shot.

My personal interests include fetch, podcasting, event hosting and video talent, coffee, cycling, ball sports of all kinds, boxing, farming, auto racing, and any manual trade.
